Denis Cathers

Denis, Niik’s Detailing Manager, brings more than 20 years experience in the Steel Construction Industry. Started in this field doing manual drafting which eventually turned to 2D drafting using AutoCAD. Within a couple years the drafting, (steel detailing), progressed to using Tekla Structures. Over time Denis became a senior detailer, checker, and project manager on small to large Steel Structures all over North America. During his working carrier he spent 8 years working for a fabricator as a Project Manager gaining shop and field experiences along the way expanding his knowledge as a Steel Detailer.

Denis enjoys spending time with his family and friends, whether its at a baseball field, hockey rink, on the water or at home.
